That picture was almost certainly of a clutch clevis pin since not only does it get much more use but it's of smaller diameter. Important to check both though.

I re-engineered the whole pedal and linkage system a few thousand miles ago with proper threaded stainless clevis forks, new pins and a pedal assembly with replacement phosphor bronze thrust washers given one was missing ex factory! It also allows easier adjustment since only one locknut is required.

This left a particularly smooth clutch action which remains so.
