Hi Doug, both stationary and moving cycling, honestly not much difference between the two if anything. My wife is the aircon checker when car is moving, shes good at detecting the compressor cycle now.. grin2 I must admit at first I thought it a little strange how it was cycling, but it has worked this way since the system was brought back fully functional by the dealer, so I assume its AC sensor is not that sensitive?..
The aircon seal woes we believe were initially caused by the cars limited use from new by previous owner, we purchased it with very low miles, but it had been sitting still for some time and needed several recharges. The system was then ok until the radiators started being replaced.. not 100% sure but I think initially on the Plus Six the front condensor was disconnected or disturbed when the radiator was replaced. Anyway on the last radiator changeout the AC seals were replaced and touch wood its been fine since, time will tell..
