K I will admit that Stonehenge and Avebury leave me cold being the total Philistine, Skara Brae on Orkney and Jarlshof on Shetland were whole new interesting visits for me.though, I bloody loved them.
Callanish on Lewis did little for me though.
Stanton Drew Stone Circle is a much quieter experience than Avebury or Stonehenge... with a big stone in the
Druids Arms pub garden if you don't care to walk around them! Nearby is the Wansdyke and
Maes Knoll iron age fort, but they are pretty boring compared to say
Cley Hill between Warminster and Frome opposite Longleat...
