Neil, sorry to read this but I'm pretty sure there is a thread on here somewhere covering just this problem and from memory provided the car is in the warranty period (+ 9months for the brake radiator debacle) MMC sorted it out.

I think you'll find it was 3 months not 9 months. Hope I'm wrong.
