It's worth noting that the M3W Handbook says the car must not be towed, although there's no reason given.
And as there's nothing to tie the towrope to at the back (apart from a roll hoop) it's not much use as a tow vehicle either!
Not sure that applies to a 1930s F-type as per the OP's avatar!
