Many thanks guys, i have forwarded your thoughts to my friend and he is most grateful, (possible new member in the future methinks).His initial reaction, time to move house to one with a garage!!
That's what I did, downsized from a house with 2 garages to a cottage with none
then upsized to a house with a double garage much happier
