I agree I am sure the bats have been removed.
That is a real shame.
I'd like to think that they had faded and perhaps needed to be removed because they were looking tatty, rather than the latest owner simply wanted a white Morgan.
I remember seeing it and whilst it was an acquired taste, it looked quirky to me and appealed.
