A marine grade fastner are much better quality available in most chandlers, some with different size screw heads lf you replace in the same hole. jf fitted correctly the double screw version that Sospan replaced are the best and will snap before the screws rip out a much better job longterm. Boat manufacturers keep fitting the singles when new even on a multi million pound boat but inevitably at some their all replaced by the doubles. Em
