A MORGAN specialised workshop in Germany (British Car Service Schmitt) offers a very nice solution with a protection kit (kind of rubber cuffs). It protects the front spring from water, salt and little stones and is filled with grease via grease points.
They sold lots of these kits over the years.

They strongly recommand to give 2-3 grease pumps about every 1.000 kms.

It costed me about 30 Euros for the material and 3-4 hours of work to get the whole kit fitted by them. Absolutely worth to do this especially on a new car (or after a fitting of new parts).
Extends extremly the life of the such protected parts of the front suspension.

Oh, great, I just did a picture search with safety off. The search was suspension cuffs (not fit for work), lol.

I should have guessed something like that would pop up, ha ha!
