I have taken the clutch release bearing off completely and will be replacing. It doesnt appear to be faulty. No leaks, fluid ok with no bits but since its a faff to get to it seems logical to replace. Car done 40k km
Now believe slipping just due to wear, as plate is 7.2 mm.
1 mm wear allowance doesnt sound like much. Less than 4 years driving for me Replace with a heavy duty version - they are in stock @m3wservices.com
