I suspect that unless one is no stranger to a spanner and still have the skill and more importantly drive enough to roll around the garage floor repairing a machine known to throw up the occasional foible, then paying a bit extra from a recognised dealership who might provide their own guarantee other than the more usual insurance based offers may be thought to be worth while, and dependant on the distance between buyer and dealership...Yup, lots of considerations..all part of the fun, best not to ignore the effect of man maths also ...?
