A little experimentation may be called for. If you have the stock aluminum rear sprocket noise is to be expected. Too tight and it will squeal like a banshee. I went through two aluminum sprockets before I went for the newer stock steel one offered in the latter years. Problem went away. As the belt wears away the aluminum it will get worse.
