Hi Massi, until you may get new replys here is a little info regarding the different 3.0 models. I am wondering if MY 2006 still is the first version with the very nice Getrag gear box and more engine power than S2. Anyway, S2 was also a very nice Roadster in it‘s own way, very smooth engine and nice for cruising. TBH your former 2002 1.8 would warm my my heart with it‘s light frame, so after three 3.0 Roadster, S 1, 2 and 3 and a Plus 4 Supersport I stick with my 4/4 since 11 years. To me it is „more“ Morgan and may be similar to your 2002 1.8.

In terms of power and performance or more regarding the way the car is balanced and kf it is a cruiser or more nimble and curve hungry? I sacrified power and prefer the more nimble qualities of a lighter Morgan. The Roadster is more nose heavy but nice on a straight line. Each to his/her own.
