Richard, as best I can remember 208 was the frequency, and by chance the extension number of the flying club at my local airport, where the Triumph car club used to meet once a month... (-:
L.o.t.w.... Exactly the same situation for me as our weekly visit to my grandparents coincided with the night that The Six Five Special prog was on TV, one of my uncles raced a Gold Star at the time and I also remember the chap lighting the gas street lamps ... Jeez, that must have been around the mid 50`s..???
