I assume your 'spare unit from Bunny' is a speed sensor. [To avoid any confusion, I have never supplied Turn Signal Modules!] However, with your symptoms, I would suspect that the new TSM may be faulty, or maybe the connectors or wiring leading to it need to be investigated? The speed sensor signal does pass through the TSM on its way to the ECU but I doubt this could affect the tacho reading or cause engine stoppages.
