We went via Benson whilst driving Route 66 in 2017. Arkansas and the Ozarks are very beautiful around there.Luckily for us in a soft top Mustang in April it didn't rain (other than 10 mins in OKC) the whole journey.
Though it got a bit chilly around Benson.
