I think you're right about the electronic fan...the one big change that came about between the old radiator and the new one is that I deleted the electronic pusher fan and went with the 6 blade pully mounted puller fan...I'm wondering if the pathway of airflow was simply changed enough to overheat the carbs...food for thought...
