Anyone have an opinion on using rubber fuel lines with a steel braid for the fuel line run from the tank to the fuel pump? It makes the install easier to use the braided steel covered flexible lines - but one worries about safety...[/quote]
Yes - don't do it! Use something like 8mm copper tubing clipped down every 6 inches.
With braided hoses, you can't see the inner rubber tubing deteriorating until the fuel line resembles something like a garden sprinkler. Not what you want running under the trim!
