Great cars but they drink fuel at the rate of a coach load of alcoholics on a celebratory long weekend locked in a Brewery.
John that description fits well with a couple of old cars which I owned, the most acholic of the bunch perhaps being my Mk1 Jensen interceptor`s cast iron 6276cc`s of thirst, to have the pedal pumped while looking down the barrel of that Carter carb was like watching a waterfall...and all during the fuel crisis in the 70`s...!
