I've used dinitrol also. Great stuff with various types of gloop. I wanted as clear finish as possible for the alloy chassis so I could still see it. The Dynax was perfect for that purpose. The alloy on my Plus Four is untreated from what I could see. I did note though at first service some black inhibitor was applied to various parts underneath which I think was a Morgan initiative. The Dynax dries off really well I found, you can scrape it with a finger nail but you won't wipe it off. Spraying it warm is very helpful and I put it everywhere underneath. I don't ever want to see any brown metal wood worm under there.
