Thank you very much for your feedback! I started with an '85 Short Door +8 back in 87. That's why I'm very capable of suffering, I would say.

So I actually get along quite well with my size of 6.3 in the long door trads. Because of all the advantages you've listed, and we're not getting any younger, I'm thinking about switching. I'm thrilled, but I can't really understand why the top construction fits in the trad and is completely in the way in the cx.
The tip to simply move the seat forward or steeper doesn't really work either. I ended up being a little too big. I'll probably try a little more and then decide whether I can live with it. Or maybe our favorite factory can come up with something else. I know, a crazy thought...

And wouldn´t it be boring if our cars just worked like that! While my last +8s with the old roof for example were completely sealed, now with the new folding top the water is running endlessly into the car. That's what I call progress! ;-)
