Apologies if I am asking many questions already covered on this forum, but sometimes tricky to find stuff.
I am about to do a road trip around Uk and Ireland in my 2000 4/4 and want to ensure I have covered basics, I have a few niggles I have found useful answers to on here, some more serious than others.
I am gathering useful tools and buts for trip and seen what others carry on this site, but silly question, I might take a small battery booster, but where do people jump from. Battery is behind and I could take out parcel shelf and do direct, but could not see other point.
Look under the bonnet for the starter motor. That should have a thick cable going to it coming from the starter solenoid which should be nearby. You need to connect where a heavy cable is incoming from the battery to the solenoid.
