The thing about 4/4s is that unlike the bigger engined cars you need to remember to use the torque selector when you want it to provide the required performance.
It's all very well wafting around on an enormous wave of torque that means you don't have to change gear from one county to the next, but I quite like changing gear and after half a century of driving I've got to be reasonably good at it.
A 4/4 on a twisty B road on a summer's afternoon with the engine being kept in the 3 to 4k band is heaven on a stick.
