Sadly no surprise. I bet they saved 50 quid a car painting these chassis

But even on the galvanised cars they were aware that flexure could be an issue along these joints, whether hot dipped or painted.

They added a black rubberised sealant to mine.


Did they omit the sealant on the painted chassis? If so, it might be worth reaching for the gooe gun….
