The Sultan of Oman and his entourage were staying at the Dart Marina Hotel, when we were there. They took over a sizeable part of the hotel. His son was graduating at the naval college. It was entertaining to watch the theatrics as cars came and went, taking very well turned out family. There were men in suits around the place, all looking like Bond. The women ate in the rooms. That was pre covid.
