For those sitting on the fence, if you have the money this is a worthwhile upgrade. The stock steel mudguards are pretty heavy and suffer from the steady struts breaking. The G56 mudguards are featherweight and fit perfectly without any steady bar. They significantly reduce the unsprung weight and give the front of the chassis an easier time which can't be bad.
They do come as raw carbon so you might want to factor in painting or lacquering them.
