I have a 1999 4/4 Zetec. On my car there is no webbing. The seat cushion is supported by a diaphragm. This is like a piece of netting that is held to the metal seat frame by metal hooks. You can check if you have a diaphragm by pulling the seat cushion back at the rear where it meets the seat back see photo. My drivers side diaphragm in my car split a while ago so I took the seat out and took it to a local car trimmers and they replaced the diaphragm.
