I presume Ewan has got one and Richard has not got one of these red things to park on double yellow lines. However I doubt that any sensible owner would be prepared to loan it out for one minute, (whether in Peterhead or anywhere else for that matter). But there is the matter of equality to consider. Any animal trapped inside could die in the heat of the afternoon sun. Any Seagull could make a mess of the shiny red paintwork, and any vehicle parked here by the River Dart could be issued with a parking fine for overstaying its limit. Perhaps the owner got caught-short and had to dash to the WC's across the road.
