I don’t quite understand the numbering.

You wrote “XXXX - XXXX, use the number under the right-hand seat and the last 3 digits of the VIN, not the wooden chassis number.”

Under my right-hand seat, I can only find two numbers:

* the VIN: SA9M3WV2ECP202416
* another number, M3W460, which I assume is the chassis/frame number.

So I’m confused about which number should be entered in the registry.

Should it be 0460 or 416 (the last three digits of the VIN)?

Neither seems to match the chronology, as my car was first registered in November 2012.

Could you please explain which number I should use?
