MMC's attempt to improve on the marque with new blood from Pininfarina is a miserable failure to my minds eye. It reminds me of the ugly Jowett Javelin with that steep slope to the rear end. Also the attempt to scallop flat sections onto the front wings is a half way house that would have looked better with sharper edges like the legendary MG F type Magna had.
The Tata motor company (owners of Jaguar and Land Rover) could surely manage a limited run of 1,000 anniversary Morgan models with a return to basics that a smiling Indian mechanic could fabricate and supply at a fraction of the cost without the fiddly-ally-chassis.
