Lorne, I have the icarsoft scanner, Had it now for at least 10 years and they are quite good as they will scan your vehicle and tell you what you have! .....
.My Autel Maxiscan is old and Autel stopped doing updates for it. It was excellent for the Plus8...A very useful tool.
Thank you Gentlemen. I shall post this to the GEMS section on GoMoG. There are 1000+ GEMS Plus 8s out there and, at the moment, with the current prices and aging owners, many are changing hands. Posterity will be grateful to you both.
