I'm also a big fan of ACF 50 (particularly on electrical connectors).
Best primer / paint for aluminium is the 2 part pale green chromate stuff made by PPG for aerospace applications - It's not uncommon to see 40 year old corrosion free cessnas, they are not allowed to sell it for non aviation purposes though.
