there is a constructive specificum of the front brake pads position to the rotors. Unlike another cars, the upper edge of the pads is some 3mm higher than the rotors outer edge. This menas, that during the wearing process, there is no left an edge on the rotors (showing the original thickness of the rotors). The rotors grind with their outer rim into the pads. This might be a source of vibrations and other symptoms.
The help is to bevel (chamfer?) the upper edge of the pads, so that they do not jut out over the rotors.
