I don't bother locking the rear down once the hood cover is on.
I also ordered a torneau cover to use when we have the side screens off and need to park the car somewhere. I am told the torneau is incompatible with the hood cover (it is one or the other) but I have not tried it yet.
A couple of weeks back I lowered the hood for the first time since buying the car last Oct, previous Sports had 9 stud hood so this was my initiation into easy- ups. No real need for a tonneau or a hood cover, the head rests, belts and side screens are in the way for the former and the easy-upness would be lost if I had to wrestle with the latter.
If I am honest the 9 stud stowed and no side screens looks better from an aesthetic view point than easy- up lowered sans side screens but because my wife dislikes being buffeted I tend to keep the side screens on anyway.
