Not for me. I love everything about my Morgan, but for me the (front) suspension is the least favourite feature on the Morgan. (I guess I will be expelled now hide)
There are plenty of classic cars with good suspension and that doesnt make them less classic or give them less charm. I dont see why hanging on to something less optimal makes the car more enjoyable. All IMHO of course. For arguments sake lets suppose that Morgan had converted to wishbones in the mid fifties. Would we love our cars less now?
