I ordered a set of stainless edge protectors for my 1995 4/4 and the profile was all wrong. I returned them to the vendor and bought a set of door edge protectors for a pickup truck, trimmed them to fit, loosened the screws holding the trim, slipped the protectors over the trim and tightened the screws. So far, they have done the job of preventing wear to the trim and only cost about 7 USD, compared to 60 USD for the stainless pieces. John
