The problem with mine was that a loop in the breather pipe formed an air lock, which stopped the air escaping from the tank, causing a build-up of pressure. The breather pipe needs a continuous fall from the tee on the flexible pipe down to the connector on the top of the tank.
The new Roadster is fine.
