SWMBO Jnr on the phone been to her boyfriends parents for the w/end . I sent a rubber front light cover ( inside engine ) . She picked it up shot outside to fit it on , followed by her boyfriends dad and grand father , willing to do the job for her and to see if she knew what to do . "Dad no way could I let them do it , at first it would not fit on so I checked the other side and pressed it harder it fit on so I closed the bonnet ". Is that telling me something . Like daughter can do it but dad is a slave .

I washed her car used the dyson inside it paid for a new tyre . Then checked it over to find the off side main beam shot if I touched the bulb holder it went on but if I turned on the lights it refused to work . I purchased a new bulb to find only the same , so started on the fuse box 100s of them and no plan to say which one as you pull these out you think where did it come from , it was about the last one ( always is ) Spotted her rubber bulb cover missing so used tape over it , topped it up with fuel and off she went y/day . I shot over to a scrap yard ( nearer than a dealer ) to see if I could get a rubber , sign beware of the dog outside on the wall as I went in a small dog came over wagging its tail , is that Clio for scrap , yes , it was the wrong one looked about and in the corner was the one under a Fiesta . Risky it may fall on me took 4 rubbers and walked to the chap to pay out of a parked Nova with its partly open window came the guard dog I was off everyone burst out laughing as only its head came out . You should have warned me you B/ard what and miss all the fun then at least I should get those for free and a new set of pants these are full . I off home cleaned them posted one to her and put the others in the garage as spare ones . I know she will not fit it only shoves over the hole another job for me to do when she comes home in 3 weeks time . I will have to start saving again .
I'm wondering if I hold a record for driving the most girls in a Morgan: FIVE. Years ago I was able to fit my wife and my four daughters in the four-seater. The daughters were 3 and 5 and all fit snugly on the back seat with one long seat belt. (It's a 1961 which originally had no rear seat belt at all.)
But I'm not sure that wives and daughters are the kind of ladies Jack was thing about.
