I'm using Lucas fully synthetic 20/50 American V Twin oil. It's for Harley Davidsons etc. It's the best oil I can easily get hold of around here, I use it in my bikes as well.
I'm using genuine S&S oil filters, but Harley Davidson Twin Cam oil filters are the same.
I changed the oil at 500 miles and again at 1000 miles, it takes about 6 litres for a change, a single 5 litre tin isn't enough.
Oil consumption has been negligable, it never needed topped up.
