After two years of ownership, it is bye bye Morgan for me. My best memories of the S1 will be the many weekend blasts in the Highlands. The S1 is a terrific driver's car! But it is also a car that is not over-engineered and so requires constant TLC from its owner--more a dog than a cat! It will be difficult to find a car with more character--though I will not necessarily miss the negative sides of her "strong personality" This is a great forum, with great knowledge, friendliness and intelligent debates.

Any plans on what you will replace it with? I have an ex-colleague who had an AMV8 Vantage and a Caterham. His reasoning was "one satisties my ego, the other reminds me how much fun can be had in a car" Enjoy whatever you choose. Bud

Philrs, Sorry to hear you are parting with your S1. Where did you go to keep it on the road ?. Was there any particular issue that I should be aware of. I am interested as I have just bought a Series 1 and you are the closest owner, Glasgow, I am over the water in County Down. Dave

Phil, Sorry to hear you've sold but equally, knowing a small part of your master plan (as long as it hasn't changed!), I would imagine you'll soon be into a car that is equally characterful, albeit not in the road-car sense. Whatever you end up doing, you are always welcome here - which you already know.
