 please No experience in a Morgan yet as I am still waiting for my build date but plenty of experience of this in my father's 1911 Renault, which is an amazingly beautiful piece of automotive history.
We get quite a reasonable amount of people waving at the car in the UK, but the majority seem embarrassed and prefer to look the other way for some strange reason. My father says that when he takes the car on VCC rallies in France then absolutely everyone waves frantically, and usually with a huge grin on their faces. English reserve, perhaps?

In  VW camper we always wave at othe CVs; any model VW always wave back but the bigger non-VW campers rarely seem too. Pity, cause the mutual wave leaves both parties happy, surely? A chap I worked with had a VW camper van, and he always said that from the natural seating position a wave to another VW usually looked like a Nazi salute!

Saw a dark coloured Mog on the B4077 just outside Stow-on-the-Wold today. If the driver's on TM I was on a silver Triumph. Thanks for waving back.

Coming from the off-roading world of Jeep, waves shared between fellow drivers were common place and quite a polite way to show respect to a fellow enthusiasts hard work and pride in their vehicle. I have a tendency to be drawn towards, and buy, vehicles with cult like followings and Jeep is the only one so far where there was such a fellowship that waves were exchanged at almost a 100% rate. I cannot say the same for VW, Audi, Subaru or BMW... and although the Morgan name plate is not a common sight here, I have to believe waves will not be in short supply, just not between drivers, but between fanatics.
