My 2011 badge has patches missing, RPM told me 'we'd replace it under warranty if we had one in stock...' Not too bothered, to be honest, just part of the patina

Thank you for all information! I told my dealer again and asked him to change the badges to the new type at next service. The car is still under warranty. If no success I will try to paint it myself. Regards, Bosse

I am on my third badge replaced at the factory late last year. Suddenly a few weeks ago, and within a few days of each other, One piece fell out and then it all fell out. That is the worst performance of all of the badges.
The dealer suggests changing to the previous badge model but that would not be authentic?
These thin badges have a plastic filler rather than proper enamel. Probably applied to dirty/oily chrome.
So my choice is leave it all silver or get a matching Humbrol Model Enamel and paint it myself?
After several gentle! car washes the enamel is finally completely gone. Looks better than half of the fields with enamel. Have Had this experience with three Morgans and became used to it.
I painted my badge today. Raided the paint store & found the tin of paint that came with the last Roadster ( in those days, the factory sent the remnants of the paint used to spray the car with the car, & the new one is the same colour . Now you don't seem to get anything, not even the promised touch-up kit ) Let's see if my paint does better the the factory's plastic Ian
