Heinz, if it's any help, I scratched the surface of the badge where the paint was to go after thoroughly de-greasing, to give a bit of grip (I know. No chance of a factory job now  ). Then after applying the paint, baked it for 4 hours at 80 degrees C. Time will tell if it worked... Ian
