Hello Everybody! Unfortunately I'm no Morgan owner yet but I decided to register to this forum to be able to place upcoming questions on the way to a possible Morgan owner I'm living in the suburb of Vienna. I infected myself with the Morgan virus two years ago when I hired a Plus 4 during a vacation in Exeter, Devon (which was a birthday present to my wife who is infected as well). Since then we drove another Plus 4 and a Roadster in Austria (my wife drove all of them too). In total nearly 3000 km Now I'm in the phase of thinking about, how to realize the dream of owning a Morgan Apart from financing such a dream there are questions to answer like 'What to do with the dog during a ride?' or 'How to enter the garage with a Morgan?' (there is a hump which requires a bigger modification of the driveway to be able to enter). I really enjoy this forum (already reading for a while as a guest) and most likely will ask some more questions in the future!

Welcome - I'm sure you will find all you want to know here...
I really am starting to think a coloured in map would be good to show where the members are from (no more local than that)...would be mostly red (or another appropiate colour)!

A warm welcome to you and your wife to TM. You certainly have found a good place to grow your virus on here and there are dog owners that take them on Morgan rides, I'm sure they will reply to you shortly. Below is a thread to dogowning and Morgans. http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/100781/dogs_mogs#Post100781I live 70km from Berrybrook which is maybe where you hired your wifes present from. Good luck with your choosing

Thank you for the warm welcome to all of you! I live 70km from Berrybrook which is maybe where you hired your wifes present from. Exactly! My wife didn't know anything of my plan till we entered the backyard of Berrybrook. The first thing she saw were some of those compact cars Berrybrook is dealing with as well and she was a bit confused The confusion turned into a big smile when she discoverd the Morgans

Welcome Michael Pease read the introduction pages at the begining of TM. It clearly states, once you have chosen your Morgan, you must invite all TM,ers and Morgan owners to a open ceremony party I look forward to receiving my invitation through the post soon

Michael and Mrs P and dog welcome to the forum. I can foresee a two way battle for the drivers seat and a second round which includes the dog for the passenger seat. Good luck with your search.

Buying a Morgan takes some time. You have to consider a lot of things and then you have to wait for the car quite long ... But if - some day - I have a Morgan I would be glad to welcome any Morgan driver who is coming around!
