Hope you're all well! After improving the Aero with some nice exhausts, I got to test driving Italian exotica, in an attempt to broaden my horizons. And while Ferraris and Lamborghinis are indeed spectacular, the equally spectacular running costs for an occasional use car, and the decidedly dodgy cast of many of the dealers and "specialists" I encountered (especially in the Ferrari world) rather put me off. So I decided not to add a Ferrari to the garage, at the moment (one day - and it will be a classic one). Instead, I have added two more eccentric British machines, both of which do their jobs to the best of their abilities. And both of which make interesting bedfellows for the Mog... Caterham Heavily modified Defender All of these cars are British, and all have flat windscreens. And all are a bit...eccentric, shall we say. Oh well! I love how the Landy dwarfs the Aero...

Its not the cars that catch my eye its the cold garage not a shelf with tins and parts hanging from them or any sign of enthusiast . The window looks false and the pipes above . My garage is like a shrine to classic cars with bits all over the place . If I had a larger one I would put a bar in it for the odd visitor .

The trials of living in central London, I'm afraid.
Communal underground parking for the two bigger machines, and a tiny little brick garage for the Caterham - no room in it for anything but the car!

My garage is like a shrine to classic cars with bits all over the place . If I had a larger one I would put a bar in it for the odd visitor . It looks like the basement of a block of flats; therefore, probably little chance to 'personalise it'! I did try to personalise my parking space in my block of flats during my twenties. When I moved out, my mum kindly gave me a giant shag rug she no longer wanted (it was orange, brown and other various 70s shades of psychedelica); as I had not furniture, it was more than welcome. In time, I grew to realise just how simply vile it was and decided it was destined for the bin. Rolling it up, I dragged it through the building and out through the car park to the bins; in doing so, I found myself passing my allotted car parking space. In a moment of sheer twenty-something exuberance I suddenly decided the shag rug could be best used to park my car on and brighten my small space of concrete parking suburbanism. I managed to park on it for a week before it disappeared. To this day I don't know if it was stolen or the building superintendent removed it. I'd like to think it lives on as a testimony to all things 70s but I somehow doubt it. As for flat screens, there is something rather British about them; either that or in the case of Land Rover, they are simply too cheap to update the design.

Steady on JTH ... although Harry,s garage does look like a motorway IE a soul less place ..... isn't it really about what it contains and that adds up to to whole Lotta soul. Better that than a beautiful garage with wooden doors .. climbing rose up the brickwork etc ... with three bloody Nissan's parked up !!! + in Harry's defense we share two thirds of the same kit a Defender and an Aero not got a Caterham yet. I believe in ish

Look in the TATE its most probably hanging on a wall and has an asking price of several million !!!!!!!!!!!!!.
