One thing I haven't bothered with yet but ought to sort over the coming winter is to clean (or replace) the fuel filter in my 1988 Plus-8. Having said that, what is the process, is it a throw-away replacement or what?

Intriguing question Jack; my son gets married the following weekend (29 Sept) and that is the dominant event in our domestic calendar!

Depends on the type of filter you have fitted? Mine is a plastic cased paper element and is replace only. But I have seen the metal cased, clean yourself, filters too...
