As a number of you om TM will be aware, my penchant for sailing landed me with a very badly torn knee cartilage last year.
That in turn revealed hyaline( articular) cartilage damge and it all escalated from there. I really wasn't inerested in any kind of knee replacement. so went for what is termed Microfracture with stem cell replacement
As I was told at the time, simple enough op- arthroscopy but a b*gger of a rehab
Afer 8 weeks totally non weight bearing, I saw my orthopods today and news so far is good. Stem cells have 'stuck' and I have a good thicknes of fibre cartilage there. not over yet- still painful and serious rehab programme to follow
Nice one, Ralph Steadman and Ian Mackie. Can't thank you enough

Thought I'd share my new theme tune with you

Pleased to hear you are on the mend.

Many years ago I broke my hip, which resulted in 6 weeks of non-load bearing on the left leg. The most important thing I did was physiotherapy. Every hour I would ensure that I did the exercises (I would set the alarm clock to remind me). Even with doing the exercies my leg muscles contracted.

Keep up the good work.

GREAT version with Phil L at his best. I have a sneaking admiration for this one- minus Phil- alas- but with Moore at his very best?

Glad to hear the check-up went well G.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, so that we can drag you out of Welsh Wales for a pie and a pint.
