Small slot behind the aero screen seems to work, but I've also left them on the seat.

Has anyone tried fitting a child seat? I assume its feasible with the seat belt, but it might sit a bit high compared to the "door"? Hoping to use mine for the school run this summer smile

Depends on the type, if it a booster cushion you might struggle given the limited width at the seat base, you'll also struggle to get to the seat belt clip.

You might be able to get away without a seat but depends on the size of your youngster.

Unfortunately it will be the full on, biggest you can get size, not even just a booster. Sounds like I might struggle then. Could have a disappointed 3 yr old (4 by the time the car arrives) on my hands

My next question is....

.. How long is a piece of string?

What sort of range are you getting from a full tank on along trip, and the samne question if your doing lots of sort trips. I'm try to guess the sort range I can expect.

From what I've been told so far I reckon I should get between 100miles (short runs) to 200miles (long) on a tank. But would like to hear some real life figures. Everyone driving style is different. But I will be running the car in you will take it easy.

Someonme mentioned Brooklands on Sunday, its about 80 miles of A-roads (I'll avoid motorways) from here, and if the forcast looks promising and I can 'ditch' a prior engagement I may venture out.

If I do go, I will take a can of petrol with me (assuming it will fit!) smile

I seem to remember that when I ran it dry recently, it was showing at about 230 miles of generaly mixed driving, which was a disappointing 28 - 29 mpg, given that I am still running it in at 900 miles.

Does make me wonder what the drag coefficient is on this vehicle. The engine is a torque monster and not one made to get maximum fuel economy. Still, 28 does seem quite low, but maybe its what real world MPG is going to look like. Have other recorded their MPG?

I was told to expect about 28 mpg! So at least I know this is a realistic figure. Filling up at around 150 miles sounds like sound advice.
