One of the things I was dteremined to do as part od my upgrade plans was to fit magnecors leads

To get the length and configuration right, I had these made up from drawings I sent to the company. ( In fact, through a supplier with the unlikely name of 'Rude Racing' who turned out to be excellent to deal with and really knew their stuff)

I felt this was a particular 'must' on a Zetec engine becuase of the potential problem of moisture gathering in the Vee of the cam cover

Had them over eighteen months now and really pleased. Anybody else got a similar experience?

Put them on mine a couple of year ago 8.5mm . Take care when you remove them from the plug as they can come away if its stuck fast on a plug . I purchased an item for removing plug leads .

Hell just looked and its my 1000th .

Apologies for being thick; but what are magnecors leads?
Also what are their advantages over the factory fitted ones?

Thanks

For info:

http://www.magnecor.co.uk/

Much higher spec; less likely for the core of the lead to break down

That's not about beer; it's about marketing. Fizzy yellow rubbish.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/money/3511066/Carlsberg-ditches-probably-slogan.html

maybe this will help, The phrase (slogan) made up by Carlsberg for its advertising campain, became famous in the UK and copied by the general public when they were refering to other products, mainly used in jest.
