Another rediculous road test that always ends up concluding the same thing.
They can't be compared...they are not the same kind of car.
Just because they might have a similar 0-60 and cost a similar amount does not mean that they are a worth comparing (in my opinion)....we've seen and read it all before.
Think these journo's just want the excuse to have knees up while getting paid.
Sorry Alan..not angling my rant at you for posting it up. Just getting my Wednesday morning tension out of my system....there that's better.

The 911 is a great car, no question. So is the Morgan..... The Ford GT is no good for Waitrose, the Range Rover is. Blah blah blah! The review didn't irritate me (I have no tension  ), and I thought it merely compared two wildly contrasting cars. When you've owned performance cars and ultimately go for a Morgan, you're doing so for entirely different reasons than before. I'm about to go out for the day in my new Roadster. The sun is shining. I'm looking forward to it. Very much. I wouldn't have the same feeling if it was a 911 - despite the Porsche being a lovely car. It's not individual, not colourful, just another bland sportscar that does what it's told. Would I marry a Porsche, or would I choose something with more spirit? Hmmmmm..... Now there's a thought. If the Morgan was a woman..... What would she be like?

I always find Porsche's boring. Like an arcade game.
The stupid clothes erc only detracted further from this pointless exercise.

Yep. I am not saying if someone gave me a 911 I would turn it down but it is like the UJM (Universal Jap Motorobike) of the 80's not my thing.

I think the guy is a union faithful trying to mock the olden days upper middle classes. That's the "point". Bit of a tired attitude, like the review.
